June 21, 2023 – Children can have fun and learn about gardening, sustainable and organic planting practices, taste their harvest and more at the variety of summer programming at Hilltop Hanover Farm this summer! Registration is open.
Programs include weekly, bi-weekly and daily sessions through August:
- Farm Team: Aspiring young farmers will learn how to work outdoors in the fields, weeding, watering, harvesting, and caring for vegetables. For ages six and up.
- Tiny Farmers: Meet the animals, play with seeds, discover new plants and taste fresh produce, get creative with flowers and herbs, and explore the forest trails. For ages five and under and their caregivers.
- Kids Farm to Table: Learn the relationship between real food and lifelong nutrition and health, and discuss the impacts of sustainable and organic practices, harvest ingredients together, and prepare a seasonal lunch. For ages five and up.
- August Camp: Kids will explore the forest spaces, the growing spaces, meet the animals, play games, get dirty, plant seeds, pull weeds, and enjoy being outdoors in the best time of year! For ages six and up.
