Aug. 17, 2022 – Come celebrate Jewish culture at the Jewish Heritage Festival on Sunday, Aug. 21, from noon to 6 p.m. at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla.
County Executive George Latimer said, “Judaism is the world's oldest monotheistic religion, dating back nearly 4,000 years. The history of Judaism is essential to understanding the Jewish faith, which has a rich heritage of law, culture and tradition. Parks Commissioner Kathleen O’Connor said, “Join us on the great lawn to see Jewish culture come alive through a variety of great music, performances and more.”
The Jewish Heritage Festival takes places from noon until 6 p.m. There will be musical performances featuring Neshama Carlebach, dancing, entertainment for children, arts and crafts, food vendors and much more.
The festival will be held rain or shine. Seating is informal; bring blankets or folding chairs for seating on the lawn. No coolers will be allowed. Admission and parking are free.
