Croton Cricket PitchWestchester County’s first full cricket pitch will be available to rent in one-hour to two-hour blocks and can be rented back-to-back for the day. Located on the left-hand-side after you drive over the bridge to the park. Call the Westchester County Parks permit office at (914) 231-4575 to reserve and for fees.

Ribbons of RemembrmanceA wooden structure was created near the Wightman Mansion for visitors to place ribbons on in memory of loved ones. The exhibit on the Main Floor of the County Office Building at 148 Martine Avenue in White Plains remains on display to the public during normal business hours.

Outdoor fitness areaDesigned for individuals aged 14 and up, the fitness area is situated behind the pool complex overlooking Tibbetts Brook Lake and includes seven pieces that can serve up to 16 people at one time:

  • Four-person lower body combo
  • Two-person upper body combo (back and arms)
  • Two-person chest press
  • Two-person lat pull down and vertical press
  • Three-person static combo (sit-ups, pull-ups, tricep dips)
  • Single rower
  • Two-person static combo (captain’s chair, pull-ups)

QR codes are included on each piece of equipment to provide instruction.

The fitness area was made possible by generous donations from Kohl's – Blythedale Children’s Hospital’s Eat Well, Be Well program and Greenfield in partnership with the Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation, Westchester County Department of Health and the Westchester County Department of Public Works and Transportation.

Scout Field, located within Bronxville, Mount Vernon and Yonkers, has 22.9 acres of land that can be utilized for walking, biking, running, nature study as well as its baseball fields, which are available by reservation only.

The park touches the Bronx River Pathway and is a scenic location to take a break and enjoy the natural world the park has to offer.
