July 25, 2025 — The 25th Annual Heritage of India Festival returns on Sunday, August 3, from 12 noon to 6 p.m. at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla. People from all backgrounds are invited to take part in this vibrant celebration of India’s rich and diverse culture.
The multi-talented Ms. Simran Ahuja will serve as the celebrity anchor, bringing energy and elegance to an afternoon packed with entertainment. More than 40 dynamic performers will take the stage, showcasing traditional and contemporary Indian dance and music that spans the subcontinent.
Festivalgoers can also browse over 40 vendors offering mouthwatering Indian cuisine, colorful clothing, dazzling jewelry, accessories, gifts, hand-crafted arts and crafts, and more. The free activities for kids will make this a day for all generations to enjoy.
A highlight of the afternoon will be the Nevrang Dance Academy’s production of Ramleela—a spectacular interpretation of the Ramayana that brings ancient mythology to life through dance, drama and devotion.
