Experience the joy of grooming our friendly horses and donkeys! This hands-on program lets kids ages 12 and older help care for our animals through brushing and grooming, which supports coat maintenance and encourages positive socialization. $20 per person.

Every Saturday through November and for those age 14 and older, join the Lasdon Green Squad to keep Lasdon, Westchester’s Public Garden looking beautiful. Volunteers will work with Lasdon staff on tasks such as invasive species removal, planting, watering, weeding, trail maintenance, mulching, trash clean up, and other tasks.

A 13.1-mile loop from Westchester County Center south to Scarsdale Road in Yonkers is closed to cars. Open to non-motorized bicyclists, scooters and in-line skaters, e-bike class 1 only, plus walkers and joggers. Many points of entry and exit are along the way. Admission is free.
