June 20, 2024 – Spectacular fireworks illuminate the night sky during the annual Music Fest & Fireworks at the Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

Westchester County Executive George Latimer said, “Kensico Dam Plaza’s wide-open space gives everyone plenty of room to gather and dance to the live music. Kensico also offers stunning views of our pyrotechnics show. These activities foster community spirit and provide entertainment for people of all ages.”

Westchester County Parks Commissioner Kathleen O’Connor said, “The Fourth of July marks a pivotal moment in American history and is an eagerly anticipated holiday in the United States and here in Westchester. So join your family and friends for an great night of music and fantastic fireworks.”

Round up your friends and family, fill up your picnic basket and settle back on the great lawn of our very own “Central Park” for an exceptional night of live entertainment and a spectacular fireworks show.”

A dynamic guest DJ will kick off the event at 5 p.m., followed by one of New York City’s most exciting bands, Total Soul, at 7 p.m. Glittering fireworks with the historic Kensico Dam as the backdrop will follow at about 9 p.m.

Admission and parking are free. Carpooling or taking mass transit is suggested. Parking at the North White Plains or Valhalla train stations is recommended. Concert-goers should bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating as well as a picnic supper.

But wait - this year we’re adding a two-hour, family-friendly Tailgate Party! Walk your children over to adjoining Clove Road Field for games, kids’ activities and DJ music. Food and beverage trucks will be there to satisfy everyone’s cravings. The Tailgate Party runs from 6:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
