Sept. 1, 2023 – Children ages three-and-a-half to five can learn through nature-based play at Muscoot Farm’s new Early Learners Program, which begins, Monday, Oct. 30.

The program will utilize the farm and natural areas allowing students to develop mentally, socially and physically through exploration, free play, themed activities, crafts, baking, science, art and more. Sessions are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. beginning, Monday, Oct. 30 through Friday, Dec. 22. No class Nov. 22 and 24. Fee: $1,050

Westchester County Executive George Latimer said, “Muscoot Farm provides many purposes to our community and education is the most important. Youngsters will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a unique, natural setting.”

Commissioner of the Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation, Kathy O’Connor said, “Our staff at Muscoot Farm is dedicated to educating the public about the nature and history of Muscoot Farm. I’m thrilled they are expanding their programming to include preschoolers.”

Alfred B. DelBello Muscoot Farm, a 777-acre, early-1900s interpretive farm, is a Westchester County Park. It is open daily and offers the public a variety of interpretive programs on weekends throughout the year.
