Slam Dunk Basketball Camp provides instruction for boys and girls entering grades 3 through 9 (as of Sept. 2025). We are dedicated to providing campers with the opportunity to increase their knowledge of the game and develop their basketball skills. The camp’s environment fosters cooperative learning and enthusiasm. Campers improve their skills at various teaching stations and play games designed to utilize the newly learned skills.

Children entering grades Pre-K through eighth will discover the farm’s fields and forests in this summer camp experience that fosters a love for the outdoors and an appreciation of where food comes from through unplugged, hands-on learning. Campers will spend time tending to the gardens and crops, cooking up farm-to-table snacks, and engaging in other activities like hiking, games, and crafts that promote an understanding of agriculture and its connection to the community.

One-week sessions are offered Monday, July 28, through Friday, Aug. 22, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.:

Groups

  • Pre-K - Kindergarten: Sprouts, one, one-week session; Monday, Aug. 18 through Friday, Aug. 22; three options available:
    • Morning session: 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m
    • Afternoon session: 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
    • Full day: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    • All campers must be potty trained

  • Grades 1 - 2: Seedlings, one-week session, Monday, Aug. 11 through Friday, Aug. 15
  • Grades 3 - 5: Harvesters, one-week session, Monday, July 28 through Friday, Aug. 1
  • Grades 6 - 8: Cultivators, one-week session, Monday, Aug 4 through Friday, Aug. 8

    • Half-day sessions: $175 per camper for Westchester County residents; $200 per camper for non-residents.
    • Full day session: $350 per camper for Westchester County residents; $400 per camper for non-residents.

Welcome to camping at Westchester County Parks, New York. The following are the general camping rules and regulations.

Age Restrictions
Permits for using shelters, cabins, RV's and tent sites are available to adults 21 years old or over.

Note
All firewood brought into appropriate, fire-approved facilities must be packaged and kiln dried with identification on the package. No other firewood will be allowed.

No Show Policy

  • Any cancellation made at least 30 days prior to reservation arrival date will result in a refund minus a $25 cancellation fee.
  • Any cancellation made less than 30 days, but at least seven days prior to reservation arrival date will be entitled to a credit for a future stay, minus a $25 cancellation fee.
  • Any cancellation made less than seven days prior to reservation arrival date shall receive no refund or credit.
  • No refund for early departures.
  • Failure to arrive by noon of the day following your scheduled date of arrival will result in cancellation of reservation, with no refund or credit for “No Show”.
  • Camping is an outdoor experience, therefore, we do not give refunds or credits for weather or natural conditions.

Children ages 5 through 10 will have the opportunity to immerse themselves into the diverse and beautiful ecology of Lasdon Park through the Lasdon Explorers Summer Program! This program is aimed to foster children’s curiosity of the world around them through hands-on nature activities, games, crafts and more.

Three-days-a-week, one week sessions are offered Tuesday, July 8 through Thursday, July 31. Camp day is 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. $160 per camper, per week for Westchester County Residents; $175 per camper, per week for non-Westchester County Residents..

Muscoot Farm's Young Wranglers camp program offers children, ages 4 and 5, an opportunity to learn about farm life, while participating in a variety of hands-on activities including chores and animal care. Campers must be potty-trained.
 
Wranglers (Pre-K) - Two, one-week sessions are available: Monday, July 14 through Friday, July 18 and Monday, July 28 through Friday, Aug. 1. Time frames to choose from are:
  • 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  • 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Fee: Residents $175 per camper per week; non-residents $200 per camper per week. Campers must be potty-trained. Campers are allowed one-week max.
