Teacher/Naturalist
Work as part of a team to develop and teach hands-on nature curriculum to children and to facilitate campers' observation of and participation in the natural world. Topics include wildlife observation and field, forest and aquatic ecology.

Responsibilities
Must supervise campers' health and safety and communicate with camp staff and parents regularly.
Must be enthusiastic, flexible, have a good sense of humor, a passion for learning, and good teaching ability.

Hours/Salary
Six to eight-week program, M-F, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Salary commensurate with experience.
Openings at Cranberry Lake Preserve, Marshlands Conservancy and Trailside Nature Museum.

 

Wilderness Experience Leaders
Develop and teach hands-on nature curriculum for young teens, conduct evening programs, co-lead backpacking and camping trips, lead team challenge course, and teach field biology techniques.

Responsibilities
Must be a positive role model, a creative and energetic teammate and an enthusiastic leader.
Background in environmental education adventure learning is preferred.

Hours/Salary
Five to seven-week program, M-F, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Salary commensurate with experience.
Openings at Cranberry Lake Preserve and Trailside Nature Museum.
