Count beaches and pools are closed for the 2009 winter season

County beaches and pools will repen June 2010 for the summer season. Some are open to county residents only and a county parks pass is required for admission to all pools, except Playland. Daily entrance and parking fees apply. 

Swimming hours are 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with no admittance after 6 p.m. Twilight swim rates apply after 4 p.m. at all swimming facilities. See the chart below for individual pool and beach schedules.

A season swim pass is available for families, individuals and seniors citizens for Westchester County resident park pass holders only. The pass can be purchased and used at all swimming facilities except Playland pool and beach.

Learn-to-swim classes 

Adults and children ages three years and up are offered learn-to-swim classes at Sprain Ridge pool in Yonkers and at Saxon Woods pool in White Plains. Pre-schoolers ages three to five must be accompanied by an adult. For more information call (914) 864-7056.
