Winter Mini Camps

Your child can experience and learn about nature and the outdoors in winter at our Winter Mini Camps at Cranberry Lake Preserve in North White Plains and Alfred B. DelBello Muscoot Farm in Katonah.
Cranberry Lake Preserve Mini Winter Camp
Students in grades five through eight can enjoy the winter landscape of Cranberry Lake Preserve and learn about nature through hands-on activities. Participants will learn to kindle fires, techniques for comfort in the winter woods, play games, and enjoy the wonders of the preserve during this special time of year.
- Date and Time: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 17, 18 and 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Fee: $225 for Westchester County residents; $255 for non-residents. - Registration: Registration opens for Westchester County residents on Monday, Jan. 12 at noon.
Non-Westchester County resident registration begins Monday, Jan. 19.
Muscoot Farm Winter Skills
Students in grades four through six will have the opportunity to experience winter on the farm, learning about agriculture and nature while participating in hands-on activities including hiking, cooking, maple sugaring, and more during February break.
- Date and Time: Tuesday, Feb. 17 through Friday, Feb. 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Camp is available per day or as a week-long (four-day) session.
Fee: $75 per day/$250 for the week ($50 discount if signed up for all four days) for Westchester County residents and non-residents. - Registration: Registration opens for Westchester County residents on Monday, Jan. 12 at noon.
Non-Westchester County resident registration begins Monday, Jan. 19.
