Feb. 3, 2023 – Westchester County Parks offers a variety of children’s summer camps and enrollment is right around the corner as Muscoot Young Farmers and Young Wranglers Camps registration opens Wednesday, Feb. 8, and Nature Camp registration opens Thursday, Feb. 23, both at noon.
 
Youngsters entering grades Pre-K through nine will have the opportunity to explore and discover the natural environment of Westchester County with fun, hands-on experiences at our nature centers and Muscoot Farm. 
 
Westchester County Executive George Latimer said, “Westchester County offers a variety of children’s summer camps and our Muscoot and Nature camps are special in that they not only offer youngsters a fun way to spend the summer, but an opportunity to learn more about the environment where they live.”
 
Westchester County Parks Commissioner Kathy O’Connor said, “Our Conservation Division does an amazing job every year providing children with the opportunity to spend their summer learning about the natural world of Westchester County through hands-on activities; it’s an experience like no other!”
 
One week sessions are offered for Muscoot Young Farmers Camp, Monday, July 3, through Friday, Aug. 18, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; $350 per camper per week. Two, one-week sessions are available with two time blocks to choose from for Muscoot Young Wranglers Camp, Monday, June 19, through Friday, June 23, and Monday, Aug. 21, through Friday, Aug. 25, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.; fee: $175 per camper per week; must be potty-trained. Campers are allowed one week max for both camps.
 
One and two-week sessions are offered at our nature centers beginning Monday, July 10, through Friday, Aug. 18, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; fee: $350 per camper per week, and Pre-K from 9 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.; fee: $175 per camper per week; must be potty-trained.
