The Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation is looking for enthusiastic educators, naturalists, and outdoor-enthusiasts to teach at our summer Farm Camp at Muscoot Farm. Camp operates from late June through mid-August and teachers will share their knowledge and love of the outdoors and animals with like-minded campers from grades 1-8. Positions available in Katonah.

Duties include but are not limited to:
caring for animals, creating lesson plans and delivering environmental, agricultural, and natural/human history education for children.

Applicants should possess a love of nature, a willingness to work outdoors, and the ability to communicate effectively. Preference will be given to candidates with a proven history of environmental education or research, yet all applications are welcome. Enthusiasm and curiosity are a must!

Applicants should have own transportation to and from camp.

Farm camp teachers are hourly positions. Hours are Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Salary is commensurate with experience.
