Nature Camp Teachers Needed with Westchester County Parks, Recreation and Conservation
The Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation is looking for enthusiastic educators, naturalists, and outdoor-enthusiasts to teach at our summer Nature Camps in Westchester’s most beautiful forests, meadows, and shorelines. Camps operate from July through mid-August and teachers will share their knowledge and love of the outdoors with like-minded campers from pre-K through middle school.
Duties include but are not limited to: developing activities for campers to participate in throughout the day.
Qualifications
Applicants should enjoy being outdoors and have the ability to communicate effectively. Enthusiasm and curiosity are a plus! Must be 16 years of age or older.
Pre-K group leader and assistant applicants should have experience working with children between the ages of three and five years old.
Hours/Salary
Nature camp teachers are hourly positions. Hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Salary is commensurate with experience.
