“Despicable Me 3” will kick off the Entergy Screenings Under the Stars free outdoor movies series at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla, on Friday, July 6. The series will continue with “Paddington 2” scheduled for Friday, Aug. 10.

The event is presented by Westchester County Parks and Sharc Creative. Entertainment begins at 6 p.m. The movie begins at sundown. Admission and parking are free. Moviegoers should bring blankets, folding chairs and a picnic. Refreshments will also be available for sale. In the event of rain, the movie will be canceled.

“Despicable Me 3”
Despicable Me 3 is a 2017 (PG) 3D computer-animated action comedy. In the film, Gru teams up with his long-lost twin brother Dru in order to defeat a new enemy named Balthazar Bratt, a former child actor, obsessed with the 1980s, who grows up to become a villain after his show was cancelled.

“Paddington 2”
Paddington 2 is a 2017 (PG) live-action animated comedy. In the film, Paddington bear, happily settled with the Brown family and a popular member of the local community, performs a number of odd jobs to buy the perfect present for his Aunt Lucy's 100th birthday, only for the gift to be stolen.
