Nature Centers
A little curious about how buds become leaves pretty much right on schedule each year? Or how to tell the difference between a moss and a lichen? Maybe you’d like to take a guided hike through the woods or a field of wildflowers, or see how maple syrup is made right from the source, or even pitch in on a conservation project. The Westchester County nature centers host a great variety of interpretive and volunteer programs every weekend of the year. Come out and meet our naturalists and curators, who make natural science fun for everyone. See what's going on at the nature centers.

Muscoot Farm
Westchester County’s Muscoot Farm, a 777-acre interpretive farm also presents a full slate of fun and educational programs for people of all ages and interests. Learn about Westchester’s agrarian past, in the early days when Muscoot was a gentleman’s farm. Hike the fields, check out the vegetable and herb crops in season and visit the farm animals in season. See what’s going on at Muscoot.

Lasdon Park, Arboretum and Veteran’s Memorial
